
One of my favorite breakfasts is from a woman-owned shop in Phoenix, Teaspressa. Since I moved away I’ve been craaaaving their avocado toast and finally recreated it! If you can support them locally at this time, please do (it still far beats out my rendition), but if you live out of range like I do, whip this up as a treat over the weekend. You’ll need:
- Half an avocado
- Cream cheese mixed with a little beet powder
- Rose Salt (after searching for months I stumbled across some on a recent trip to Barcelona. If you don’t have rose salt , sea salt will do, though stay on the lookout! The rose flavor makes this *chef’s kiss*)
- Honey
- Lime
- Bread or English Muffin
Simply toast your bread or English Muffin, slather on the cream cheese mixture, mash the avocado on top with a fork and drizzle honey + lime juice over the finished product.
