I’m going through a season where I don’t feel compelled to reach for alcohol quite as much (though my summertime go-to’s are a Spritz Bianco or a White Negroni — if you’re a Boston local, Frenchie does a White Negroni best!) Yet, I love the act of mixing up a little something to sip at the end of an evening or while I cook dinner.
The other night, I really wanted to use my favorite Luxardo Cherries in a little something and the result?
A more grown-up take on a childhood favorite: The Shirley Temple.
Here’s What I Did…
- Fill a glass of your choice with whatever ice you like and then pour over with either Lemon Lime Spindrift (my usual) or Lemon Lime Olipop (when I can get my hands on it!)
- Then, pour in a short glug of grenadine (this one is my favorite).
- To top it off, spoon a Luxardo Cherry in, stir, and voila! You have the perfect nostalgic drink to sip on a hot day.
What’s your favorite NA sip? Let’s get a roster going in the comments!
